Studio Policies

Attendance Policies

Students are expected to attend every scheduled lesson on time with a positive attitude and enthusiastic to sing.

Lesson Cancellations:  A 24-hour notice is preferred for any lesson cancellations; however, I understand that emergencies do occur (i.e. sickness, family emergencies, situations out of one’s control, etc.).   Lessons that are cancelled with-in 24 hours due to any of the reasons previously mentioned will be rescheduled and made-up at the earliest convenience.  This policy applies to both student and teacher.

Inclement Weather:  In the case of inclement weather, cancelled lessons will be made up at the earliest convenience.  Payment for any lessons will roll over to the rescheduled lesson and the lessons afterwards following the original payment schedule.

Expectations of the Student

Students within in the studio are expected to arrive on time to their lessons, with a positive attitude, and their best singing voice.  Students will arrive to their lessons with their music prepared, and any theory homework or research homework assigned from the previous week completed.  Students are expected to demonstrate respect, responsibility, and support for their fellow student musicians within the studio.  Students will display musical, vocal, and individual growth throughout their time within the studio.
