Welcome to the Voice Studio of Katherine Knoles!

Katie Knoles received her Bachelor degrees in Secondary Music Education and Vocal Performance from Pittsburg State University, and is currently completing her Master of Music degree from Kansas State University.

She is an accomplished soprano with experience in a variety of genres of vocal music including opera, musical theater, choral music, chamber music, church music, and solo repertoire.

Miss Knoles has worked with a wide range of vocal students ranging from the elementary grade level to young adult for both private instruction, as well as for various contests.

Philosophy of Vocal Instruction

My goal as a professional singer and instructor is to provide the means to educate students about proper vocal technique, vocal health, and to help each singer find their  instrument.  Students will embark on a musical journey that will allow them to build their instrument, their self-confidence as a singer and performer, learn about music theory and the historical relevance of vocal repertoire, and to learn to sing a variety of suitable vocal repertoire.
